It is recommended that users use the functionality provided in the Oracle Enterprise Manager Application Server Control to make changes to the User Interface (UI) and the look and feel of Discoverer Pages.
The changes documented are not supported by Oracle. While the changes documented have been tested on a limited number of platforms, these changes are provided without any claims to their accuracy.
It is strongly recommended that you make appropriate backups before attempting any of the steps described in this document. Additionally, your changes could be overwritten by future patching.
If you do make any changes to any UIX, UIT or any other files that are shipped with Oracle Business Intelligence Discoverer, and if you run into issues, you must reproduce those issues on a machine without these modifications for Oracle to provide support।
