Custom Logo in Discoverer Plus

You can use Discoverer Plus URL parameter "brandimage". This parameter specifies that you display an organizational logo in the top right hand corner of the Discoverer Plus screen. In Discoverer 4i
1. Put your company logo, i.e., "com_log.gif" file under the directory $ORACLE_HOME/Apache/Apache/htdocs/discwb4/images 2. Copy gif or jpg file (on web only gif and jpg files are recognised and NOT bmp file) into this directory. 3. Now use the following URL to call plus which will pass the image name (custom or company logo) as a parameter. http://machinename.domain:port/discwb4/html/discolaunch.htm?BrandImage= http://machinename.domain:port/discwb4/images/com_log.gif or http://machinename.domain:port/discwb4/html/discolaunch.htm?BrandImage=discwb4/images/com_log.gif (Substitute suitable values for machinename and portno in the above URL.)
In Discoverer 10g(9.0.4)
1. Copy the gif or jpg file into directory /j2ee/OC4J_BI_Forms/applications/discoverer/web/common/xsl Assuming the gif file you copy is com_logo.gif, invoke discoverer 9.0.4 plus URL as:
http://machinename.domain:portno/discoverer/plus?brandimage=common/xsl/com_logo.gif (Substitute suitable values for machinename and portno in the above URL.) 2. Then after connecting to the database from Discoverer Plus, image com_log.gif will be displayed in the top right hand corner of the Discoverer Plus screen.
